The Alpaca

Its fine fiber is world-renowned for its thermal qualities and great softness

The characteristics of this precious fiber are the result of a long process of adaptation to the environment where the South American Camelids inhabit: The Peruvian Andes (at 4,500 meters above sea level)

The alpaca fleece is a lustrous and silky natural fiber, which offers more than 17 natural colors, in the range from white to black and all shades of brown. The process of preparation, carding, spinning, weaving and finishing the alpaca is very similar to the process used for wool.

Alpaca fiber is warm and does not contain lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic, fire resistant and meets the standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

People who wear garments made with Alpaca fiber appreciate its thermal qualities, softness, and resistance; for these and many other reasons, they become a precious and elegant product.
